What a difference two nights makes.
On Friday, it seemed like every ball Storm hit found a
hole or a crack in the defense. On Sunday, it seemed like every ball hit was
hit right at an A’s defender. The A’s also made the plays when it mattered.
Defensively, Storm uncharacteristically made some
errors, or had balls get by players who normally would have fielded them. While
it wasn’t horrible defense, in a game where you lose by two runs, one or more
of these plays certainly could have been the difference.
Storm hopes to regroup Monday against the Rebels.
