Storm storms by Falcons

Storm and the Falcons played a fairly tight match. Storm took the lead early with an eight run 3rd, but the Falcons would not stay grounded, and scored 9 runs in the 5th and 6th combined. This brought the score to an uncomfortably close 18-15. Storm was able to add five runs in the top of the 7th, and kept the Falcons off the scoreboard in the bottom of the 7th for a 23-15 victory.

Of Note:

In the top of the 6th, Joey ran Storm out of an inning by running on a deep fly to left. He ran past third base before realizing that there was only one out when the ball was hit. In the end, though, it didn’t matter as Storm already had all the runs they would need.
