Storms stay away so Storm could blow by Hanet

There was a rumble of thunder in the distance, but it was the thunder that was coming off Storm bats that was the real issue for Hanet on Sunday.

Storm struggled through the first inning, scoring only one run, but in the second, the bats started to rumble as Storm scored five anchored by Duran’s 3-run homer. Storm had another strong inning in the 4th scoring 6, and the skies really opened and Storm cracked thunder and lightning in the 7th as Storm scored 12 runs batting through their entire order twice.

Notable facts:
Duran hit one home run that counted in the books, and two that went for outs as he tried to win the league record for home run outs. He is now up to 5 Home-run Outs this year!

Bob, Mike and Joey all had 6 hit nights.
Dave scored 6 runs.

Bob and Duran picked up 6 RBI

HR's: Bob, Lance, Duran
