Storm holds on against Hanet

Storm and Hanet once again played a fantastic game. After their previous game ended in a tie, this one game down to the final inning. Storm won 16-15 while Hanet stranded the tying and go ahead runs at 3rd and 2nd.

It wasn’t the prettiest game of the season for Storm. As a matter of fact, it included one of the ugliest innings of Storm’s season. In the 3rd inning, Hanet was able to score seven runs, as it didn’t seem like Storm was able to keep a ball in their gloves. Numerous errors led to a massive inning and helped Hanet take a 1 run lead. Hanet was not able to hold on to their one run lead, though, as Storm was able to pass them again. The final inning was stressful as Hanet was able to put runners on 2nd and 3rd with only 1 out. A hard groundball to 3rd recorded the 2nd out of the inning and didn’t allow runners to advance, and a groundball to shortstop ended the game.

Notable Boxscores:
Joey – 3/3, 2 HR, 3 runs, 4 RBI
Jeff – 2/3, HR, 3 RBI, 2 runs
Kevin – 3/3, 1 run, 1 RBI

HR's: Joey 2 (24), Bob (15), Jeff (3)
