Both sides of the ball strong for Storm

Storm had another great all around night. The offense was pretty strong, particularly early. James and Jeff hit back to back homers and the team was finding some holes on the field. Storm grabbed the lead early and held on.
The defense was also strong, as Storm turned two double plays and made some nice catches on line drives and hard grounders. Solid defense really kept Coulas bats at bay.
One of the highlights of the evening came immediately as Bob hit a ball up the middle that went off the shortstop’s glove and allowed Bob to reach base. That marked 150 straight games where Bob has reached base.

His stats throughout the hitting streak are as follows:
AVG. - .718
Hits – 443 (averaging 2.95 hits per game)
2B – 96
3B - 15
Runs – 332 (averaging 2.21 runs per game)
RBI – 331 (averaging 2.21 RBI per game)
HR – 68
OBP - .727
What a fantastic 150 games. Keep the streak alive.

Other Highlights:
Greg, Bob, Joey and Al all going 4 for 4.
3 Double plays on defense
Al hitting three doubles.
HR – James (9). Jeff (4), Joey (18)
