Joey took the mound in the second. He started strong getting the first two batters out, but the Isotopes charged their bats and scored three runs on five consecutive hits to take a 7-2 lead. Storm had absolutely no charge in their bats in the second and went down three in a row.
The law of diminishing returns was setting in with the Isoptopes, and they only managed one run in the top of the third inning. Storm took advantage and cut into the lead with a four run inning, led by Tony absolutely destroying a you run home run. 8-6.
The Isotopes were then neutralized for the rest of the game. They did not score a single run from the 4th-7th. Storm had a massive 5th inning. They batted through the order and scored seven runs. Duran tripled and Bob hit a home run helping to power the late inning comeback. Storm would add one in the sixth (as well as a solo home run out from Mills) to take a 14-8 victory.
