Genesis 22:1-19 ( No not a score)

Good day fans of middle-aged men in tight pants! Scoops Jockovitch, intrepid sports reporter here with the latest of your Storm brethren.

It was a Prince written, Bangles performed kind of Manic Monday as your Storm took on those Digits of Vermillion on the dusty diamond of destiny (yes, I know I’ve used that before, but hey shoot me, I like it)

The formerly Orangey boys led off the 1st  with a threesome of runs only to be matched by a menage a trois of their own by the Pouce Vert.   The second saw the teams play a little Match game of runs as well. Billy Bob was so drunk he BLANKED on his own face. Game tied @ 6-6
One low light of the second saw the Baby Kangaroo get picked off at 2nd, which is a very
un-presidential thing to do.

The Orangemen served up a goose egg in the 3rd and just to prove to themselves that whatever you can do we can do better, the Thumbs matched that egg.

In the next inning, having been proven allergic to eggs, the Storm went thru the order and plated a handful. Which should have been a max 6 but the Spicy Gregroll showed that he doesn’t really like foreplay and decided to skip 2nd base to end the play and was thereby called  out, nullifying the 6th run

The aforementioned Baby Kangaroo however seemed to enjoy making plays that benefitted the Thumbs as he was their catcher in the 4th and went Biblical! And by that, I mean he followed good old Abrahams’s rule of thumb and sacrificed his only son.

Suess was making his way to 3rd base, but his father would have none of that and threw a dart that not only hit him but made an out. That’s at least 2 extra therapy sessions down the line!

Storm kept delivering Beatles lyrics to the Thumbs for they were the Eggman once again. 11-6

The open inning was just that with everyone minus Monsieur Olympiad hitting and scoring highlighted by back-to-back a Big D boomers. 22-6

The 6 & 7 saw the Greenies score only 2 while the Orange et Blue scored 4 more for a final of 26-8

Some lowlites: Dr. Suess had a hit for a home run But we were already 2 up, so that was no fun. The new catcher rule seems to disagree with the BK as he recorded two outs for the opposition.

That’s it that’s all for me. Tune in next time for my in-depth coverage of Olympic Break dancing! This has been Scoops Jockovitch, intrepid sports reporter.
