Storm stymied by Triple Play

Storm and Triple Play played a barnburner of a game. You would you would think the game was being pitched by Clemens and Ryan, or Halladay and Carpenter, or Verlander and Sherzer as both teams struggled to hit and both teams played solid defense for most of the game.

It was 3-3 heading into the 7th inning. This raised the question of when to take a pitcher out. Jeff was originally slated to pitch the first 4, but after giving up 0 runs through 4 he was left in. Triple Play scored 2 in the 5th and 1 in the 6th. Then, after a great debate of whether or not to leave the pitcher they are struggling to hit off of in, or bring in the pitcher they haven't seen, Jeff was left on the mound. Triple Play got a runner on and then launched a 2 run blast. Storm coudn' get anything going in the bottom of the inning, and Triple Play hung on to win 5-3. This is Triple Play's first win against a President's division team.
